Viking Invasion

In 1998 a group of Stockholm Hashers travelled to Edinburgh, in what was dubbed a Viking Invasion. In an era where Hash events are filled up within minutes and are growing ever bigger, we would like to restart the Viking Invasions as a series of smaller recurring events. We will visit places with historical Viking settlements or other important Viking connections.

So, mark your calendar for the week-end of 17-19 September 2027, when we are going to Schleswig in northern Germany and the UNESCO sites of Haithabu (Hedeby) and Dannevirke. The main event on Saturday will include a visit to the Haithabu museum and a Viking-style dinner.
